Rodolfo is a respected Executive in the broadcast industry in Latin America and The Caribbean, fluent in English and Spanish with a distinguished extensive career leading sales, marketing, and business development initiatives for CNN in the region.
With more than 18 years of experience in client needs and markets, Rodolfo is a developer of strong client relations, great Interpersonal and Leadership Skills, sales strategies, negotiation and decision-making skills.
During the last 13 years, Rodolfo Proaño has held various positions at Turner Broadcasting System, Latin America, Inc., (TBSLA), and most recently was the Head of Broadcast Affiliate Sales and Relations for the region, handling business and relations for CNN en Español, HLN, CNN International, Newsource and CNN USA. Based out of Atlanta-Georgia.
In his role, Rodolfo has been responsible for coordinating sales, sales and relations activities with TV Broadcasters and Radio affiliates in Latin America and The Caribbean. Rodolfo also acted as the liaison between TV and Radio affiliates and CNN news networks. He has developed key strategic contacts with affiliates in the region. With his expertise, he has also helped business heads of television stations achieve their goals through the use of news products and services provided by CNN
Born in Quito – Ecuador, Rodolfo has traveled and lived in many countries in the Americas and has experienced a variety of cultures and languages which has enriched his understanding of the diverse cultures.
Rodolfo holds studies in Economics from Universidad Catolica of Ecuador. Also, Rodolfo has a Master’s Degree in Information Technology from the American Intercontinental University of Atlanta, where he resides since 1989.
Mr. Proaño was involved with the local community being a Board Member of the Cobb County Community Relations Council.
